Ayanna McCullough has worked in New York City elementary schools for 10
years. She spent several years as a classroom teacher instilling in her
students an innate desire and excitement for learning.
Currently, Ayanna is a Math Coach at her alma mater elementary school. She
trains teachers through modeling best practices, differentiating
instruction, and analyzing assessments to guide instruction. In addition
to working with teachers and students at the local level, she also
facilitates workshops at the regional level. The focuses of the workshops
are on effective planning and implementation of the Everyday Mathematics
curriculum.
