Doreen Esposito currently teaches fifth grade
at the Manhattan New School in New York City and previously
taught third grade in New Jersey. Throughout her six
years at M.N.S., she worked along side many distinguish
balanced literacy teachers including Judy Davis and
Sharon Hill. Her classroom work with shared text minilessons
was featured in Linda Hoyt's book, Make It Real:
Strategies for Success with Informational Texts.
She has lead reading and writing workshops for New York
City public and private elementary school teachers.
