Gaby Layden is an independent literacy consultant who provides staff development services to schools and districts across the country. She brings her former experience as a special educator and senior staff developer for the Reading and Writing Project at Teachers College, Columbia University to her present work. She has done numerous presentations at NCTE national conventions, as well as at reading and writing institutes throughout the United States and abroad.
