Georgia Thompson has worked in the field of education for 31 years as a classroom teacher, literacy consultant, reading specialist, teacher educator, adjunct professor, and director of literacy training. She is a trained reading recovery teacher, a certified Master Reading Teacher, holds ESL and principalship certification, and a doctorate in Supervision, Curriculum, and Instruction. Dr. Thompson is currently a literacy coach and provides national literacy-related workshops for teachers and administrators.
