Heather Nelson holds a Master Degree in Mathematics Education. She served as a lead teacher in an inner city school and created a classroom environment based on inquiry based teaching and learning. Heather next moved to an administrative position where she supported administrators, coaches and teachers, wrote curriculum, grants, and developed off year (4th. 7th, and 9th) standardized mathematics tests.
Heather provides professional development for teachers, coaches, and administrators, in school districts throughout the country and helps teachers enhance instruction and increase student learning in schools that are not meeting NCLB mathematics standards.
