Joann Corrao Spera holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and School Social Worker and a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in the field of Education for over thirty years as a teacher, counselor, school social worker, parent trainer and teacher trainer. She has done numerous workshops for teachers and parents on managing discipline. She has experience with regular as well as special education and understands the challenges facing teachers today. Cooperative Discipline has helped her present a practical and realistic approach to helping teachers understand student’s behavior and become more effective in the classroom.
