Josie Javens has been training educators in California for the past 15 years. Her popular workshops incorporate all components of a balanced language arts program. Josie's experience includes 15 years of teaching in the Irvine Unified School District and 7 years as a lead demonstration teacher. She has presented all over the state of California, as well as in Arizona and Texas. Her expertise includes staff development and demonstration lessons for school districts, schools and County Departments of Education. Josie has also taught educational courses for Sonoma and Sacramento State Universities. Her workshops are popular with both beginning and experienced teachers. The language arts seminars offer hands-on, effective teaching strategies for immediate implementation in the classroom.
