Description:
Differentiation: A Practical Approach
In this workshop, participants will learn practical strategies to meet the
needs of a diverse group of students. We will address how to implement
effective differentiation strategies. We will discuss practical ways to
assess and group students, differentiate lesson plans, and engage all
students while effective maintaining classroom management. Participants will
learn ways to differentiate how they present content, how to modify or
extend their subject matter, and how to offer choice in the classroom by
applying what they have learned in the workshop to their own lesson plans.
Specific strategies for Literacy and Social Studies classes will be
addressed.
