Reaching learners with diverse needs has been a passion-turned-career for Kelly Harmon. Mrs. Harmon believes learning should be exciting and joyful for all learners, not just the ones who fit the mold of “good student.” Through interactive workshops, conferences, and long-term technical assistance, Mrs. Harmon helps educators connect with their learners’ natural learning modalities, curiosities, strengths, and deficiencies. Each learner counts and because of that every child deserves an educational experience designed specifically to meet their needs. Knowing that the way to a child’s mind is through their heart, Mrs. Harmon designs literacy programs that relates research and practice to the interests, cultural background, and needs of the learners.
