Layne Hudes has been teaching elementary school in New York City for 19 years.  She is a founding staff member of the Manhattan New School where she currently is the Mathematics Coach. Layne has facilitated mathematics workshops, courses and study groups for teachers, supervisors and families.  As a consultant for Merrick Schools, she has worked with staff members to implement the Investigations curriculum.
