Dr. Linda Karges-Bone is a professor, author, and educational consultant with expertise in the area of assessment. She has written four books on the topic, including Productive Instruction and Authentic Assessment. Her work is based on cognitive science as it applies to differentiated assessment. In addition to teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in assessment, Dr. Bone works with low performing schools to use assessment tools and strategies to formulate long-range instructional plans tied to student needs and diversity. She has been successful in assisting sites in moving from low-performing to proficient ranges through long-term intervention strategies.
