Lisa Zahn Black is a creative, talented educator, author and consultant nationally recognized for her outstanding teaching efforts. Among her honors, she was inducted into the National Teacher Hall of Fame, the Mid-America Education Hall of Fame, received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching Science and Mathematics and has earned certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Lisa also received the Kansas Medical Society Award for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics, as well as being named a Christa McAuliffe Fellow for the state of Kansas. Presently, Lisa teaches fourth grade in Kansas where she is actively involved in her district’s math and science professional development initiatives. |
