Mary Chen has teaching experience in both private international schools in Asia and New York City public schools. She has a background in Geology, and has taught 9th Grade Integrated Science and 10th Grade Biology. Mary has spent the past 6 years ata New York City school, developing inquiry-based projects that incorporate authentic content and skills through a critical thinking lens. Her current focus is assessment-informed instruction -- how can quick, daily assessments help to drive instruction that is as tailored to individual students as possible?
