Meredith Davis
teaches third grade at The Manhattan New School in New
York City. Throughout
her career she has participated in professional
development focused on curriculum planning for all
aspects of balanced literacy.
Her classroom is a model for visitors from many
parts of the country.
She is the author of Up
and Away: An International Flight, part of Mondo
Publishing’s Bookshop Series.
Her voice can be heard on Scholastic
