Dr. Michelle Merriweather, Associate Professor of Mathematics, teaches a wide range of courses in Mathematics and Mathematics Education at a private college in the New York Metro area. Her specialties are training current and future mathematics teachers on the elementary, secondary and college levels. In addition, Dr. Merriweather is a T3 Regional Instructor with certifications in the subject areas of Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus/Calculus, Statistics, Developmental Algebra, Pre-service educator and college math. She also has certifications in the following technology: TI-84 with apps, TI-73, TI-89, TI-Nspire, TI-Nspire CAS, TI-Navigator, and Data collection probes.

Dr. Merriweather regularly conducts workshops and courses on how to teach mathematics from the elementary to college levels. This includes in-depth knowledge of the mathematics on each level, the incorporation of technology and differentiation of mathematics to accommodate all student needs. She also has experience teaching special education and talented and gifted students in mathematics on all levels.
