Mikki Metula has been a successful educator for the last 35 years. Her experiences include classroom teacher, staff developer, and literacy coach. Mikki has touched the lives of thousands of students and teachers both in the classroom and as a staff developer. Mikki conducted turn-key trainings to district teachers and other reading specialists. Mikki holds a Masters Degree in Reading, and is a certified Reading Specialist in both New York and New Jersey.
Mikki has facilitated staff development workshops focused on guided reading, balanced literacy, and writing workshops. Differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students is emphasized and enhanced through guided reading.
Her determination in creating successful readers along with her enthusiasm and excitement in seeing children learn, inspire her to provide staff development that will help teachers with instructional literacy strategies.
