Pamela Gray is a Teacher's Teacher for she well understands the educators' need for teacher friendly applications of knowledge synthesized from differentiated instruction, how the brain learns, learning accommodations for gifted and learning fragile students, and common sense. Her workshops are packed with current knowledge, useful exemplars and teacher ready materials based upon her thirty-three years of working with PK to grade 12 teachers. If 'No Child Is To Be Left Behind,' then educators need the help of knowledgeable and practical staff developers who really know what it is like to be in a classroom day after day with a diversity of students. Dr. Gray is such a resource.

The Power of Paraprofessionals

Paraprofessionals can make a significant difference in the education of students! They can be the one person in that child's corner who is there with unconditional acceptance and support. Because of their value to our children, they deserve staff development opportunities that can maximize their knowledge of ways to reach learning fragile students. This workshop is an introduction to the most promising instructional strategies that reinforce and strengthen concepts initially taught by the teacher. Common learning problem symptoms will be presented with accommodations to address such problems. Workshop participants will leave with an array of strategies across learning styles to be used in classrooms the very next day.
