Amita Gupta, Ed.D., has been in the field of early childhood education for the last 20 years. She is currently a professor of early childhood education at a university in New York City as well as an international educational consultant. She has extensive experience as a PreK-K classroom teacher and program director, and continues to offer staff development workshops for teachers and administrators. Amita’s workshops and classes for PreK-2 teachers have included a wide range of topics such as:
- Curriculum: Connecting standards, content areas, and developmental domains
- Behavioral Management: Observing and assessing children’s behaviors
- Behavioral Management: Cultural influences on the knowledge, skills and attitudes that children learn
