Jill Lindsay

Jill Lindsay has nearly seven years of elementary education experience. She has taught a variety of grade levels which include second, first and fifth grades. After several years as a classroom teaching, she assumed the responsibility of the district’s Math Specialist.
As the math specialist, Ms. Lindsay is responsible for providing support to the nearly 100 teachers in the district’s six elementary schools. Her responsibilities are directly related to the daily maintenance and implementation of the Everyday Mathematics program. She assists classroom teachers through modeling lessons, providing staff development, and mentoring. In addition, Ms. Lindsay utilizes data analysis to support implementation efforts and create materials to further sustain the implementation efforts. She has also supported the program by creating a district website for staff, parents, and students. Ms. Lindsay has extensive knowledge of the program at each grade level and has been trained extensively through the publishers training sessions.
Jill Lindsay graduated with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education (k-8) from Montclair State University and a Masters of Science degree in Technology Education from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Currently, she attends Seton Hall University working towards an Educational Specialist degree in Administration. |
