Mickie Esleeck

Mickie Esleeck is a former classroom teacher and math coordinator with 17
years of Everyday Math experience. As math coordinator, she led the faculty
through the field testing of Everyday Mathematics from grades 2 through
6. She has been a consultant with EM for the past 14 years. She
became a full time consultant in 2002 after teaching fifth grade EM for
the three preceding years. Mickie was chosen as Virginiašs Math
Teacher of the Year. She credits EM and its philosophy with her
success.
She has done consulting work in many states. She has worked with
teachers, coaches, lead teachers, principals, assistant principals,
parent groups and students.
