Nancy L. Witherell

A former classroom teacher, Nancy L. Witherell brings both her expertise and practical experience into early childhood and elementary classrooms. Nancy has presented at numerous local, state and national conferences including for the International Reading Association and National Council of Teachers of English annual conferences.
Nancy is the co-author of four books, three published by Scholastic:
Teaching Reading Through Differentiated Instruction with Leveled Graphic Organizers, Teaching Writing Through Differentiated Instruction with Leveled Graphic Organizers, and the soon to be released, Teaching Vocabulary Through Differentiated Instruction with Leveled Graphic Organizers. Nancy also co-authored a Heinemann publication: Fluency in Focus, Comprehension Strategies for All Young Readers. In addition Nancy has completed her first solo book as a Heinemann author: The Guided Reading Classroom: How to Keep ALL Student Working Constructively.
