Sunita Sangari has worked in New York City schools for the last 10 years. She is currently a Lead Math Coach in Region Nine. This is her 4th year designing and facilitating, pre-service and in-service professional development in Every Day Math in Grades K-5. The audiences of these workshops are teachers and parents in her school and educators in the region. Prior to coaching, she has also successfully mentored New York City Teaching Fellows for 2 years.
In addition to coaching, Mrs. Sangari is a consultant for the UFT where she collaboratively plans and presents Citywide Summer Math Institutes and networks in Manhattan and the Bronx.
