Wen Chang

Wen Chang is currently a lead math coach for New York City's Region 9, designing and facilitating various mathematics workshops for middle and high school. These school, region, and city level workshops focus on problem solving, developing mathematical understanding, and pedagogy. By looking at student work, video cases, and curriculum through a critical lens, participants develop a deeper understanding of mathematical teaching and learning. On a daily basis, Wen helps teachers from grades 6 to 12 strengthen instructional practices in their classrooms. Prior to coaching, Wen taught both middle and high school for several years.
