Sarah Buxton was a Literacy Coach for a Collaborative Team Teaching middle school in Brooklyn for three years. Before her experiences as a staff developer, she taught sixth and seventh grade ELA using the Reading and Writing Workshop model for six years. Ms. Buxton co-authored Workshops That Work! with Kirsten Widmer. These days, Ms. Buxton is co-teaching seventh grade Social Studies, weaving her knowledge of literacy instruction into the content area.
