Shoshana Starr taught at the elementary level for 13 years in both special ed and regular ed. Ms. Starr is a math coach in the Boston Public Schools. She is also a math consultant for TERC in Cambridge, MA leading summer workshops that deepen teachers' content knowledge and strengthen their understanding of the Investigations curriculum. In addition, Ms. Starr is a literacy consultant and presents workshops and provides classroom visits in the elementary and middle schools. Her workshops provide teachers with practical lessons for enhancing the writing workshop; including lessons on revision, writing prompts and teacher conferencing. Shoshy is an adjunct instructor in the graduate education program at a College in Massachusetts. |
