Stacie Ferrara
is Supervisor of Art, Science and Technology at a New Jersey School district. Stacie taught high school chemistry and physical science for ten years including online courses for a virtual high school program. She has a B.S. in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey, and a M.A in Administration, Supervision and Curriculum from Georgian Court University. Stacie is currently a candidate in the Ed.D in Educational Leadership program at Rutgers’s University.
Stacie has presented workshops on increasing inquiry, aligning classroom assessments to NJASK 8 /EOC Biology Exams, incorporating technology into lessons, data driven instruction, differentiated instruction, teaching science in the block, benchmarking, creating authentic performance tasks and standards based instruction.
To improve student achievement, Stacie provides teachers with a deep understanding of a topic, provides opportunities for teachers to practice new skills with feedback, and builds their capacity to implement new skills and knowledge into practice.
