Wendell Hala is a science instructor in New York State. Wendell has taught secondary sciences for 14 years and in addition to science research courses, he has taught numerous inclusion level through honor level sciences where he uses differentiating instructional methods to enhance the student's results.
Wendell has taught workshops on climate change and other science programs that focus on using current events to interest and motivate the students in the sciences. Prior to teaching, Wendell worked as a geologist and geochemist with several environmental engineering firms, and as a geologist with the National Park Service at Yellowstone and Crater Lake where he utilized his interests in research with education to develop educational programs for the general public. Wendell considers himself a "life long learner" that is never satisfied with mediocrity.
