Adam D. Kinory

Adam D. Kinory has been teaching high school for the New York City Department of Education since 1992. A National Board Certified Teacher of English Language Arts, Adam remains an energized classroom teacher. He focuses on differentiating instruction, moving students within their Zone of Proximal Development, embedding them with skills needed for college, and conveying a deep love for literacy.
For the past six years, he has consulted for The National Board Project of the United Federation of Teachers. In this capacity, he advised teachers how to move their practice toward the demanding standards of The National Board. He continues to work with The Effective Teaching Program where he instructs Graduate Education courses to Educators with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
