Agnes Phillips has been teaching high school science for the last 25 years for a large public urban high school in NY. After years of teaching various courses/levels in both Biology and Chemistry, Agnes has been teaching primarily Regents Chemistry and Honors Chemistry for the last 15 years. Agnes has been recognized as a highly effective teacher. She has developed and implemented proven teaching strategies to excite and motivate students in the study of chemistry. Lessons are geared toward deeper understanding of some of the toughest chemistry concepts. Agnes has extensive experience with the NYS Regents Physical Setting in Chemistry Core Curriculum and the exam, and has worked with the NYS Education Department in evaluating and writing test questions.
