Candace Villecco is a special education teacher at School of the Future in New York City. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at New York University’s graduate education department. Previously, she spent two years in London as head of a professional development training program for international teachers and was a middle school humanities teacher in New York City. Candace has facilitated numerous workshops on differentiation, assessment, and literacy in the content areas. She sits on the advisory board for Hall Farm Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping teachers use the arts to both enhance the education experience and meet the needs of students in an inclusion classroom. She is also an active member of Facing History and Ourselves.
