Caroline Thaler is a literacy consultant working in both in the New York City and Jersey City Public School systems. She also consults in a number of independent schools in the New York area. Ms. Thaler’s work encompasses many facets of whole school change, with a primary focus on literacy instruction. She works with teachers and administrators, customizing job-embedded professional development to the particular needs of each school and district.
Prior to consulting, Ms. Thaler was the Assistant Principal in New York City. Her years of experience in the New York City public education system, as a teacher, staff developer and administrator, have given her a breadth of experience that she brings to her current work with school communities, including teachers, administrators and parents.
