Kim D. Paris has extensive experience differentiating instruction with students and helping teachers learn how to apply strategies for differentiation. With 25 years experience as a classroom teacher and gifted education specialist in public schools in Nevada and the founder and curriculum specialist of a charter school, she is passionate about meeting students¹ academic and affective needs. She has done workshops at the local and national level and presentations at national conferences, such as the National Association for Gifted Children and the American Educational Research Association. Her areas of expertise include coaching and collaboration with teachers for differentiated instruction, cluster grouping, gifted education program development, and differentiation strategies (tiered instruction, independent study, etc.).
